Sweet Adeline!!!

So, most of my updates on Facebook recently involve mishaps on my phone or in my life due to my 15 month old, Adeline. So, I thought I would share them with my fellow blog followers. I haven't blogged in a while because summertime is fun time. And on a side note, I am feeling much better after my hospital stay in May.

I started realizing Adeline was really good at using my IPhone when she bought her first Groupon for a Sushi making class that cost $48.00 after my Groupon bucks went through. Sneaky little sushi loving girl! I had no idea until I checked my email and noticed the heading, "Thanks for your purchase!" from Groupon. UGHHH, I immediately called Groupon and they refunded my money. phew :)

I swore from that day forward Addy would NEVER touch my phone again.

A week later, she threw it in the tub.

The next thing I noticed she could do was change my sounds. It was a few days ago that I realized she wasn't just playing but changing my tones. I seriously thought I was losing it on the fourth of July when I kept hearing what I thought was a train. Seriously, no tracks near by. Then I got a few texts at once and realized the train in my head was actually my text sound. She changed my text tone. I haven't changed it back because it actually amuses me and annoys my family. The sound is actually called, "Suspense." haha

So, today I was checking out Blogger and noticed 2 new entries before I created this one. One was in June and one was from this morning. I already knew she turned my alarm off and I missed an appointment but I had no idea she wanted to be a blogger too.

Well, long story short. She really should not touch my phone EVER. We will see how long that lasts!

Happy Valentines Day! and some tips too

Just some ideas for a fantastic and budget friendly Valentines Day! 1. Buy roses at the grocery store instead of a florist. They make great arrangements for great prices! 2. Order a heart shaped pizza from Donatos . I heard Papa Johns is doing the same thing this year!! Take your pick, the hubs and I look forward to a heart shaped from Donatos Pizza every year. 3 . Rent a movie and snuggle on the couch and make home made popcorn. Cheaper than one movie ticket and more romantic too! 4. Make a romantic dinner at home. Spaghetti, garlic bread, and salad is cheap and delicious! Present it with heart shaped plates and red napkins. 5. This is the most important tip!! Make sure to tell the person you are spending the holiday with how much they mean to you! At the end of the day, all I really wanted was an extra special I love you and to know I am loved. Pollyanna syndrome

My mom has always said she likes to find the good in people, similar to Pollyanna. Whether she likes it or not, it's not always a good quality to have. She always told me I wear my heart on my sleeve, another quality that isn't always a good one. Seems pretty negative to disagree with her wanting to find the good or people or loving everyone regardless of their actions but let me finish. She recently learned that it is sometimes hard or impossible to find the good in people, including the ones she loves...like ALOT.  She and a few others recently dealt with a pretty heavy situation involving people they love and the outcome wasn't pretty. It was quite ugly! Not the first time my family has dealt with some ugly situations but it affected someone that has NEVER  put herself first and always done what is right regardless of the situation.
