Super Fantastic Nothings or Somethings

I'm sick on my 2 year anniversary. I was so excited to dress up, wear heels (doesn't happen very often), and gaze into my sweet sweet husbands' eyes at a over priced restaurant. Sadly, that is not going to happen today. I feel like I was ran over by a truck, my throat is throbbing, and I have more snot coming out of my nose than any person should. BLECK! Here is a short blog dedicated my husband. Dearest Ryan, Thank you for waking up early today so I could sleep in. Thank you for always making sure I get rest even though you are lacking on sleep quite a bit. Thank you for working hard with out one little complaint so I can stay home with the children. Thank you for making sure you tell me how beautiful I am when I know, in fact, I  do not feel beautiful at that moment. I remember when I used to go out on Saturday nights. I loved dancing until I dropped. I assumed I would always want to do that. It is Saturday night. I'm on my computer blogging while I listen to my 10 month old sleep. I like the security of my house, hanging with my kids watching Nickelodeon and Disney. I don't want to be somewhere else. I don't want to sound like a hypocrite because once in a blue moon I would like a girls night. But I think it's misunderstood. I don't want a go out until the sun comes up GNO , I want dinner and laughter and bonding with females who I can relate to and express things to them that my husband just doesn't get. I found out recently that most of the people I associate with don't want to do that. I did however find out most recently that one friend in particular wants all the same things I do on ANY night of the week.We both prefer lunch with the girls instead of dinner, we prefer to spend Friday nights with our husbands and...

Mary told me her hands were as a clean as a door knob Jane said boys and girls have different body parts because some boys have 1 leg and some girls have 2 legs, some are old and some are little..etc. Jane covered her hair in hand soap, apparently its easier to comb out the knots. At dinner Mary ordered tiramisu for dessert. She hated it and ate a scoop of vanilla icecream. At dinner Jane at Mary's tiramisu, a scoop of vanilla icecream, and my spumoni for dessert. Adeline has the greatest belly laugh, I really need to catch it on video. Ben are banker makes our bank account look a lot friendlier. Ben the banker always gives our dum dum suckers to mom too ;) The Main library is one of my favorite places in Columbus. My kids are sleeping to Christmas kids bop. I love my life.

Something is not missing. This year, 2012 has created so much insight into what I want, what I need, and what I think. This post is super vague I know. I have relationships that I am so grateful for, and each of those are growing and getting better as the current year goes on. I know its only February but at this point, if I haven't attempted to make plans with you for whatever reason. Don't expect me to. I know some people might think I'm talking about them. Trust me, I'm not. This goes out to 1 person. My BFF lives in Japan, so obviously I can't make face to face plans with her. But phone chats and skype are 2 forms of communication I currently cannot live with out. And in the next year or 2, it might be my only means of communicating with everyone I am close to. I will never be comfortable around puke. I will always gag when I hear, smell or see someone puking. This includes my children also. Mother of the Year .... never gonna happen.      So last night, Jane came upstairs. Sadly, Ryan and I were already restless because Addy would not even try to sleep 5 minutes earlier. He was downstairs looking for the Nook when Jane hopped in the bed. She started coughing. Ryan came back upstairs to get in bed. Jane rolled over to her back and barf flew out of her mouth. I jumped out of the bed like there was a fire. I ran downstairs to get Jane some clothes and towel. Jane kept puking in her hands. My bed, sheets, and kid were puke covered. Just some ideas for a fantastic and budget friendly Valentines Day! 1. Buy roses at the grocery store instead of a florist. They make great arrangements for great prices! 2. Order a heart shaped pizza from Donatos . I heard Papa Johns is doing the same thing this year!! Take your pick, the hubs and I look forward to a heart shaped from Donatos Pizza every year. 3 . Rent a movie and snuggle on the couch and make home made popcorn. Cheaper than one movie ticket and more romantic too! 4. Make a romantic dinner at home. Spaghetti, garlic bread, and salad is cheap and delicious! Present it with heart shaped plates and red napkins. 5. This is the most important tip!! Make sure to tell the person you are spending the holiday with how much they mean to you! At the end of the day, all I really wanted was an extra special I love you and to know I am loved. I really hope I didn't gross you single people out too much! But if so.. I have a great idea that sounds like A  LOT ...

I love Facebook. I think the whole idea is amazing! But I wish I could change a few things. 1. Games and Apps make me cringe, it may say I play them..but its because I own an Iphone. A lot of my apps allow me to play with friends from my facebook friends list. LUCKY YOU! 2.  Updates about politics drive me INSANE!! We all have a political opinion, but I really hate people who just complain all the time about everything wrong with our country. Things most definitely suck, but SERIOUSLY!!! THANK GOD WE DON'T LIVE IN SYRIA ..seriously, its breaks my heart SO MUCH!! 3. Updates about how much your life sucks, please see above..and Thank God again! 4. I'm friends with some teenagers on facebook because of the church I attend. But, I have been friends with teenage girls in the past..and even some young adults, that really need to put more clothes on before they take a picture.
