Weeks.

Something is not missing. This year, 2012 has created so much insight into what I want, what I need, and what I think.

This post is super vague I know.

I have relationships that I am so grateful for, and each of those are growing and getting better as the current year goes on. I know its only February but at this point, if I haven't attempted to make plans with you for whatever reason. Don't expect me to. I know some people might think I'm talking about them. Trust me, I'm not. This goes out to 1 person.
My BFF lives in Japan, so obviously I can't make face to face plans with her. But phone chats and skype are 2 forms of communication I currently cannot live with out. And in the next year or 2, it might be my only means of communicating with everyone I am close to. Who knows right?!
I am at a point in my life, a almost perfect point. 
Growing spiritually.
Falling more in love with my husband everyday. 
Understanding what my purpose is and working to improve myself everyday.

Life is one twisted journey. I am so grateful for the twist it has taken in 2012.

Bedtime stories with Adeline

Tonight we read several books at bedtime. Typically we start with a new book and end up reading her favorites over and over again until she fell asleep.  Jane usually falls asleep after the first few pages of the first book but Adeline wants to hear every last word.  Our books tonight.. Happy Valentines Day! and some tips too

Just some ideas for a fantastic and budget friendly Valentines Day! 1. Buy roses at the grocery store instead of a florist. They make great arrangements for great prices! 2. Order a heart shaped pizza from Donatos . I heard Papa Johns is doing the same thing this year!! Take your pick, the hubs and I look forward to a heart shaped from Donatos Pizza every year. 3 . Rent a movie and snuggle on the couch and make home made popcorn. Cheaper than one movie ticket and more romantic too! 4. Make a romantic dinner at home. Spaghetti, garlic bread, and salad is cheap and delicious! Present it with heart shaped plates and red napkins. 5. This is the most important tip!! Make sure to tell the person you are spending the holiday with how much they mean to you! At the end of the day, all I really wanted was an extra special I love you and to know I am loved. I really hope I didn't gross you single people out too much! But if so.. I have a great idea that sounds like A  LOT ...

Pollyanna syndrome

My mom has always said she likes to find the good in people, similar to Pollyanna. Whether she likes it or not, it's not always a good quality to have. She always told me I wear my heart on my sleeve, another quality that isn't always a good one. Seems pretty negative to disagree with her wanting to find the good or people or loving everyone regardless of their actions but let me finish. She recently learned that it is sometimes hard or impossible to find the good in people, including the ones she loves...like ALOT.  She and a few others recently dealt with a pretty heavy situation involving people they love and the outcome wasn't pretty. It was quite ugly! Not the first time my family has dealt with some ugly situations but it affected someone that has NEVER  put herself first and always done what is right regardless of the situation.
